Yes, yes, and yes! Virtual feeding therapy sessions are more realistic because the therapy takes place in the home which is a more natural feeding environment for your child than an office space. Sessions that are virtual involve a great deal of parent involvement which gives you the support that you need while guiding your child during meals.
The majority of the meals that your child eats throughout the week will be spent with you. Virtual feeding sessions allow for real-time support for you and your child so that you can confidently continue using practiced strategies between therapy sessions.
If at any point in time we do not feel virtual sessions are appropriate for your child, we will discuss alternative options.

Success looks different for every child. Every child has individual strengths and weaknesses. Success depends upon how early strategies are implemented and how consistently strategies are used.
Other variables that may impact success are your child's needs related to his/her behavior, sensory and emotional regulation, and/or medical concerns.

About 1 in 13 children have food allergies today. Although I am not an allergist, all therapies and educational materials provided can still be utilized if your child has food allergies. The targeted foods to expand your child's diet will be foods that your child is not allergic to, and these foods are to be selected at your own discretion.
