Yes! Virtual feeding therapy sessions are more realistic than going to a clinic because the therapy takes place in the home which is a more natural feeding environment for your child. Sessions that are virtual involve a great deal of parent involvement which gives you the support that you need while guiding your child during meals.
The majority of the meals that your child eats throughout the week will be spent with you. Virtual feeding sessions allow for real-time support for you and your child so that you can confidently continue using practiced strategies between therapy sessions.
If at any point in time we do not feel virtual sessions are appropriate for your child, we will discuss alternative options.

Coaching sessions are a great way to provide you with knowledge about feeding and oral development. It is a time that you can learn approaches to implement at home to help your little one continue to develop their feeding skills. Many parents like coaching because it is a time to ask all of your questions, get 1:1 guidance, and set a plan for the following week.

Success looks different for every child. Every child has individual strengths and weaknesses. Success depends upon how early strategies are implemented and how consistently strategies are used.
Other variables that may impact success are your child's needs related to his/her behavior, sensory and emotional regulation, and/or medical concerns.

About 1 in 13 children have food allergies today. Although I am not an allergist, all therapies and educational materials provided can still be utilized if your child has food allergies. The targeted foods to expand your child's diet will be foods that your child is not allergic to, and these foods are to be selected at your own discretion.

Soup to Nuts accepts private payments and out-of-network insurance benefits for services.
If you choose to use out-of-network benefits, I can happily submit claims on your behalf (via a company called Thrizer).
If you’d like to coordinate with your insurance company directly, I can send you a superbill to help you potentially get reimbursed for services rendered.
Reasons Soup to Nuts does not participate with insurance plans:
Soup to Nuts is intentionally designed and utilizes 60-minute feeding therapy sessions. Soup to Nuts values prioritizing the client and providing adequate therapy time needed for successful feeding interventions, parent education, and meaningful progress.
