About Soup To Nuts
Hi, I’m Kristen
I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, Feeding Therapist, and Educator.
The heart of my work is a mission to transform mealtimes for families who are navigating difficulties with infant feeding, transitioning to solid foods, and picky eating. Over the past six years, I’ve brought my expertise in pediatric feeding to diverse settings—from healthcare facilities and private practices to homes and schools.

How Soup to Nuts is different:
Although your child’s needs are important, so are yours as the parent. I use a family-centered approach so that mealtimes at home are realistic and manageable for all.
Here at Soup to Nuts, I believe all foods fit which is vital to set a strong foundation so that your child has a positive relationship with food.
I use a trauma-informed approach during feeding therapy in which I focus on safety and fostering a trusting environment at all times.
I recognize that feeding your child requires preparation and can be time consuming. I will work with you and your child so that your child is equipped to eat in all environments, such as at home, school, and restaurants.
I believe that long-lasting change takes time and commitment. Soup to Nuts prides itself in giving you the appropriate time and support that you deserve.
I value parent education because it is ultimately the parent who must carry over the learned strategies during infant, toddler, and child feeding.
Despite my education and work experience, my personal journey with food has led me to where I am today.
After being on a series of restrictive diets throughout my life for various medical reasons, I grew a passion for wanting to help others learn how to feel comfortable around food. Food is so much more than just nutrition and truly impacts a child’s emotional and social well-being.
I understand just how daunting it is to introduce new foods. I am here for you and can’t wait to watch you succeed on your child’s feeding journey.
